Global Medical Cannabis

The Cutting Edge of Knowledge
The Intersection of Science and Politics

The World’s Intellect Speaks.

Cannabis is the most evidence-based plant that is illegal worldwide.

So, why is that?
Is the world legally restricting the use of cannabis?

All problems stem from a lack of knowledge.
Moreover, those who create the rules often lack sufficient knowledge. Such individuals should not be involved in decision-making.

This serves as a warning.

Decisions made by politicians that are not based on the latest scientific evidence have turned into a bias against the national interest.

We must reclaim the decision-making authority from the political arena and restore it to scientists and the medical community.

Everything begins with a lack of knowledge.

In modern society, the lack of knowledge among political decision-makers has become a significant issue that hinders the interests of the public. Specifically, the absence of scientific knowledge in political arenas can lead to biases that negatively impact national interests, resulting in erroneous judgments. In such circumstances, it is essential for decision-making to be informed by scientific insights. When politicians make decisions without a scientific basis, it can potentially disadvantage the entire population.

“Cannabis is not a new drug; it is a plant that has been passed down since ancient times. It embodies the coexistence of humanity and nature, having been utilized for tens of thousands of years.”

The Importance of Science and Medicine

The ongoing discussion about cannabis serves as a representative case of a larger issue. This plant has coexisted with humanity for thousands of years and is certainly not a new drug. Despite its long history, cannabis remains illegal in many countries, largely due to biases that lack scientific evidence. Conversely, alcohol, which poses significant risks of addiction and mortality, is socially accepted. This discrepancy epitomizes political decisions that are not grounded in scientific knowledge. While there are no confirmed fatalities associated with cannabis use, alcohol continues to claim countless lives. This contrast underscores the urgent need for policies based on empirical evidence rather than outdated prejudices, ensuring that the risks and benefits of various substances are understood and addressed appropriately.

“Conversely, from a medical standpoint, alcohol is the most high-risk drug, as it is associated with addiction and can lead to death.”

There are no recorded cases of death directly caused by cannabis.”
(Statement from a global clinical expert in medical cannabis)

Question for Global Clinical Physicians

Cannabis is often referred to as a gateway drug. Is there any evidence to support this claim?

“There is no such evidence.”

Furthermore, the scientific evidence does not recognize any addictive properties associated with cannabis (medical cannabis use).

The Myth of the Gateway Drug

The claim that cannabis is a gateway drug lacks evidence. On the contrary, studies suggest that proper use of cannabis may reduce the use of other dangerous substances. It is also important to acknowledge the reality that the lack of appropriate access to cannabis contributes to the prevalence of dangerous drug use. In fact, it is alcohol and tobacco that truly serve as gateway drugs.

The Need for High-Quality Medical Cannabis Products

In medical cannabis formulations, the use of high-quality raw materials is essential. Specifically, organic cannabis cultivation materials that are pesticide-free (or have no pesticide residues) are in demand, as soil microbial activity significantly affects their quality. The issue of pesticide residue concentration is also a crucial factor that influences the quality of the formulations.

Achieving this relies on excellent seeds and soil (microbial activity), which serve as the foundation for high quality.

Top Leaders in High-Quality Medical Cannabis Cultivation Gaining Global Attention

Alchemist Medical International (AMI), based in Thailand, is a global company aiming for worldwide expansion in high-quality medical cannabis cultivation and pharmaceutical development. The company focuses particularly on its proprietary indoor cultivation facilities in Thailand, producing medical cannabis using pesticide-free organic cultivation methods. AMI is actively engaged in joint research with the Thai Ministry of Public Health and the FDA to promote the international standardization of medical cannabis and the training of healthcare professionals through international academic publications.

Additionally, in collaboration with leading cannabinoid researchers such as Dr. Ethan Russo and Dr. Mara Bilibajkich, AMI holds pharmaceutical intellectual property management rights for 16 cutting-edge prescriptions, including treatments for Alzheimer’s disease, insomnia, anxiety disorders (PTSD), and nausea and vomiting related to cancer treatment. The company is advancing clinical trials and product development for medical cannabis formulations containing CBD and THC, with a vision for global expansion. Furthermore, AMI is focusing on the sale of high-value medical cannabis products both domestically and internationally, strengthening collaborations with partner companies and research institutions.

Focus on Cultivation Soil

A significant feature of AMI’s high-quality medical cannabis cultivation is the realization of true organic farming, with a focus on “soil microbial activity.” While conventional cultivation often relies heavily on chemical fertilizers and pesticides, AMI enhances the quality and safety of cannabis by maximizing the natural microbial activity in the soil. Soil microbes facilitate the decomposition of organic matter and the cycling of nutrients, creating an environment where plants can efficiently absorb the necessary nutrients.

This process promotes healthy growth of cannabis, allowing it to harness the soil’s power and generate effective components that enhance its medical benefits. In particular, high-purity components free from concentrated pesticide residues are essential in medical cannabis. Therefore, cultivation methods that emphasize soil microbial activity provide a competitive advantage in terms of both quality and safety. This approach enhances the reliability of the products offered to patients and contributes to sustainable agriculture.
