The phrase “never give up” symbolizes our beliefs and serves as a driving force for action. However, to truly embody this phrase, words alone are insufficient; it is essential to translate those words into concrete actions. Without accompanying actions, it becomes merely expressions of frustration or complaints, lacking the power to shape our future. Raising our voices against the challenges we face is the first step toward creating meaningful change.
The Tokyo gubernatorial election is an important turning point for us, and after a fiercely competitive election, we have reached a major milestone. This election is not just a political event, but it shows the direction of the future we are aiming for, and it calls for us to start taking on new challenges. Among these new challenges is the issue of cannabis.
The debate over the legalization of cannabis and its medical use is one of the important social issues we face. In order to eliminate prejudice and misunderstandings about cannabis, we need discussions based on accurate information. We must seriously consider the medical potential of cannabis and the social benefits that its use under appropriate regulations can bring. This will help create an environment in which users can safely enjoy its benefits.
Tokyo, Japan, and even the world will not change if we remain stuck in the false values and fixed conflict structures created by others. What we seek is “coexistence” and “cooperation” that transcends the old framework of right and left. This coexistence and cooperation are essential elements for building our future, and will be the force that brings about true progress.
By deepening our understanding of cannabis, we can eliminate misunderstandings and prejudices and build a harmonious society. If the only way to secure one’s position is to belittle others, then the goal is to constantly create enemies and continue fighting. This results in conflict and disconnection, which leads to despair, breakdown, and even loneliness. What we are aiming for is not just this kind of struggle, but a struggle to create a better future.
What we seek is harmony, fusion, and peace beyond the struggle. This harmony is an important element that also leads to national interests. The pursuit of national interests is itself our mission and an important means to achieve it.
We believe that national interest is not something that each and every Japanese person imposes their own justification on others, but something that comes from understanding the problems each person faces, raising the issue, and working hard to resolve those issues through thorough discussion while being there for each and every person. This approach is the first step towards realizing a better society and will be the force that opens up our future.
They say that a good person is someone who knows how to do things in moderation and values harmony with others. We feel that it is not enough to simply raise our voices in order to realize a society where Japanese people can live with pride and confidence in being Japanese. We will not give in, we will not give up, and we will quietly fulfill our mission of changing Tokyo, Japan, and the world, while valuing the thoughts of each individual.
We do not live only for food and shelter. Japan has a history, faith, traditional culture, and foundational culture that we can live with pride and confidence as Japanese people. The debate over the legalization of cannabis and its proper use should also be considered as part of our culture and be discussed with pride.
If it is insanity to try to restore the pride and confidence that has been intentionally suppressed among the Japanese people, and to deepen understanding of cannabis in order to realize a society in which people can live with pride as Japanese people, then we are indeed insane, and perhaps we are aiming to create a society in which it is easy for such insane people to live.
Politics should exist for the weak and the downtrodden. Is it really wrong to try to improve, even just a little, the discomfort and difficulty we feel in society? As a Japanese person, I don’t think it’s wrong to seriously think about Tokyo, Japan, and the world.
We want a society where we can say, “YOU ARE RIGHT.” And, “WE ARE RIGHT.” We will never give up on politics, and we will continue to move forward, unyielding.
We will not let the 260,000 votes and the feelings and aspirations of an estimated 800,000 people across the country go to waste. We will get moving. We will not give up, we will not give in, we will get along, we will strive for harmony, integration, and peace that lie beyond the struggle, and we will create national interests.
We will not give up, we will not give in, and we will continue to change Tokyo, Japan, and the world, respecting the thoughts of each and every person. Politics should exist for the weak and the oppressed. As Japanese people, we will seriously consider Tokyo, Japan, and the world.
We want a society where we can say, “YOU ARE RIGHT.” And “WE ARE RIGHT.” We will never give up on politics, a society for the Japanese, by the Japanese. We welcome you, who have the will and the spirit to move forward together with us.
We will not give up or give up. Our will is unwavering, and we will continue to move forward step by step. We will continue to raise our voices to spread understanding and acceptance of cannabis and build a better society. In order to realize this future, it is essential that all people cooperate and walk together. Our activities need your participation. Let’s work together to build a better future.
