Ideals that cannot be protected
will be taken away again and again.<\/p>\n

The issue is not whether or not you have power.<\/p>\n

It’s whether you can simultaneously have the resolve to protect them
and the rationality not to pull the trigger.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Many ideals have been spoken of in the past.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t

Peace, freedom, dignity, culture.<\/p>\n

All of these were beautiful,
All of these were right.<\/p>\n

And yet,
Time and again, these things were trampled upon,
Stolen away,
And disappeared into history.<\/p>\n

Not because the ideals were wrong,
But because they were not upheld.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

It wasn't the idea that was stolen.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

When ideals crumble,
it’s not the words that break first.<\/p>\n

What breaks is the will to uphold them.<\/p>\n

Discussion is neglected,
promises are broken,
and in the end, the side that cannot keep their promises is chosen.<\/p>\n

This is not an abstract concept.<\/p>\n

It’s a reality that has been repeated many times throughout history.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The fate of a powerless community<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Communities that had no means to defend themselves
always remained “on the side of talking about ideals.”<\/p>\n

They did not attack.<\/p>\n

They did not seek conflict.<\/p>\n

That in itself was an admirable attitude.<\/p>\n

However,
when they were unable to put their resolve to defend into concrete form,
that nobility was easily exploited.<\/p>\n

Ideals were praised,
and reality was taken away.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t

Power is not the answer<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Make no mistake here.<\/p>\n

Power does not solve everything.<\/p>\n

On the contrary,
power creates new dangers.<\/p>\n

Fear, miscalculation, rampage.<\/p>\n

Once used,
it can have irreversible consequences.<\/p>\n

That is why
so many people have turned a blind eye to this question.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The real question
is not whether you have power or not.<\/p>\n

Whether you can simultaneously possess the potential to have power
and the rationality not to use it.<\/p>\n

It’s not enough to just be prepared to protect.<\/p>\n

Ration alone is not enough.<\/p>\n

It is extremely difficult to maintain both at the same time.<\/p>\n

That is why
I have failed so many times before.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

But it cannot be protected by relying solely on force.<\/p>\n

Peace is a state in which we continue to accept the heaviest responsibility.<\/p>\n

If we continue to hold up ideals without understanding this,
