Oktober 2021 ging es nicht um den Besitz, sondern es wurde auf die Widerspr\u00fcche im japanischen Cannabiskontrollgesetz hingewiesen und argumentiert, dass das Gesetz selbst verfassungswidrig sei. Der Prozess vor dem Bezirksgericht endete am 4. Juni 2024 mit einer Strafe von sechs Monaten im Gef\u00e4ngnis f\u00fcr drei Jahre zur Bew\u00e4hrung ausgesetzt. Anwalt Marui, ein Menschenrechtsanwalt, der f\u00fcr die Verteidigung von Angeklagten in Gerichtsverfahren verantwortlich ist und seit vielen Jahren an Cannabisprozessen beteiligt ist, sagte: \u201eIch habe den Staatsanw\u00e4lten immer wieder Beweise daf\u00fcr vorgelegt, dass Cannabis sch\u00e4dlich ist und dass Cannabis sch\u00e4dlich ist.\u201c Es besteht Strafbedarf.\u201c Es handelte sich um einen Prozess, der trotz der Ablehnung der meisten eingereichten Unterlagen und Zeugen fortgesetzt wurde, wie aus der Erkl\u00e4rung hervorgeht: \u201eDer Prozess wurde jedoch ohne Erf\u00fcllung der Beweislast fortgesetzt.\u201c \u201eMenschen auf der ganzen Welt verfolgen den Ausgang dieses Prozesses mit gro\u00dfer Aufmerksamkeit. Um Japans Zukunft willen d\u00fcrfen wir keine weitere negative Geschichte und keine weiteren Opfer anh\u00e4ufen.
